Very cute and fun. Would love to have seen a slightly longer timespan for things to develop, maybe a bit more of an explored relationship between Piper and Hilda, what was there was gripping.
It may be one of my favorite two of your short ones, right next to "It Gets So Lonely Here," these two novels being totally different notwithstanding. I like the humor and the characters, and Skye makes for a really nice setting - now I feel like running my modern fantasy RPG there. Obviously enough, I'd love for it to have a sequel, maybe a bit longer though!
Cute, lighthearted story with a bit of drama. Alice is a fun protagonist who loves to dress in lolita style. It felt nice to read about her visiting the landmarks of Skye, as well as about her blossoming friendship and romance with Piper. Both the scenery descriptions and the characters' dialogue are very well written. The artwork is beautiful and the setting is atmospheric.
Ian, Piper's dad, deserves a special mention. Lots of his lines made me smile.
Great stuff as per usual. I liked that you were able to incorporate all that interesting information about Skye naturally into a good story (such as by connecting people's feelings to it).
