I can't add any Steam trading cards or backgrounds until the game earns a certain amount of money in Steam sales, and the game is very far from hitting that earnings threshold. With the way curent sales are, I wouldn't be surprised if it took 4 or 5 years until it made enough money to be eligible for profile customisations.
I looooved Rain and the Wolf, and the choices I was able to select. I've had this on my wishlist for some time, and your other BL titles but I've kind of held back purely because of linear story. Having no achievements are a solid deal breaker for me soo greatful and I'm so happy that you add them - but with kinetic novels I need a lil push first. I want to understand why.
It's mostly just a matter of personal preference. I read a lot of VNs myself, but I actually prefer kinetic VNs since I tend to get choice paralysis (I have literally dropped VNs before because I got to a choice point, didn't know what to pick, and then closed the game and never returned to it lol)
Since I tend to write stories that appeal to my own tastes first and foremost, I mostly write linear stories since I like them more. Rain and the Wolf was an exception since I wanted to write a story with a few grim bad endings, but I also wanted there to be a possibility of a fairytale happily ever after romance; the story was conceived as having multiple ends from the get-go. Most of my VNs aren't planned with any branching in mind, however, and I also think I'm a bit better at writing structured linear stories than branching ones.
I have been experimenting a little more with VNs that have choices and multiple endings lately, however, so I might make more branching BL in the future. I'll have to see how I feel!
It's such a fun game! so light-hearted and adorable. the writing is really pleasant and I love the main couple, they are so cute and I like the way their relationship develops but also them as individuals. I feel like each character has a lot of things that make them stand out and separate them from any one trope, or even play to the advantage of a trope. It's just really good. also, the art style is so cute and I'm really enjoying the music too. everything about the game matches perfectly!
also I love that it comes with an apk file ... mobile game works perfectly and I love playing in bed and on my phone in general
I loved this game so much! The story is great with fun characters who all have their own unique personalities and feel very fleshed out! (even the more minor characters) I also loved how everything was resolved very neatly with a super sweet ending, and just the story in general was so good! It really managed to convey the emotions of the characters well and the reactions and dialogue all felt right with characters reacting realistically, the art was also amazing, I love Ekkoberry's style! Its really just so charming (especially the little hair highlights idk why but I just really love them) I also loved the dynamic created with the constant bickering slowly becoming more fond as the story continued and the two opened up to each other!
Overall I just really loved this game! I was a little uncertain about getting it as I dont buy games very often but it was defiantly worth it!
I bought this hoping for something fun, something light-hearted, something maaaaaybe a bit silly that'd make me smile, and oh lord did I get that and more 💞
Had an absolute blast reading this; the art was of course lovely (it's Ekkoberry, after all), the music set a great tone throughout, but most of all it was the story and Aster and Blaise's relationship and interactions that won me over. They had a really natural back-and-forth throughout, and didn't feel rushed or forced at any point. (Also, a special shout-out goes to Charmaine and her perfect 'sweet gremlin' energy)
There were plenty of moments that made me laugh or snort out loud, and the finale was sweet without being saccharine. It was genuinely just a really good time, and I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for something wholesome and full of warm and fluffy feelings <3
Hi there! Really enjoying the game so far! Super cute and I absolutely am amazed with the world built around these two! Not gonna lie I was a little concerned with the initial plot, funny how which way he's a catboy, human to cat or cat to human changes how much me and my chat liked it LOL . But anyways as usual Ekkoberry did an amazing job with art on the game too (big fan LOL) and the music and sound effects btw added a lot too especially that shocking sound lmao. Can't wait to see the rest soon I'm sure it's just as good!
Aw thank you very much! I'm glad you're enjoying it so far! Blaise is a human who was cursed to take the form of a cat, he is not initially a cat haha ;;; And yes, Ekkoberry's art is very cute! I'm really happy with how it all looks!
Yeah, I watched it and now in the mids of watching your second video you made 12 hours ago and I must thank you Clock, thanks to you I found this game and a new youtuber to watch. ❤️

I love this game. And it would be awesome if the Steam version got profile customisations (profile background, mini profile background etc.)

Can I ask why you do mostly Kinetic novels?
