I had this sitting on my messy desktop for way too long and that was a mistake. Really loved the story, the writing, the music, the PC98/DOS vibes.
I just wish there was a bit more to the true ending. Don't get me wrong, "Wake Up" is also impactful in it's own way, but I'm the kind of person who likes less open endings. I want to know who's voice is the one that we can hear, I want to see Ayumu try to get his life in order a bit, I want to read the email he'll probably send to Nagiko instead of just leaving that to my imagination.
Maybe it's just my taste there, but the worst thing I can say is that I want more of it, so please take that as a compliment.
For a visual novel, I was honestly on the edge of my seat the whole time... It was like watching a movie sort of, but I could make my own choices. The atmosphere and the way things progressed makes you feel like things aren't right... I just really loved this story... Very few VNs make me feel uneasy or anxious, and some most definetly don't have me questioning my life xD but this was a great playthrough! I loved it!
I thought from the title that this game would be a bit generic at first but i was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere and the narration, everything was spot on.
You can definitely get a good idea of whats going on early in the game but the good ending path is a beautiful message delivered in a really unique way.
I came here to play a game where there is a hidden yandere
I leave after playing this game and feeling relatable to this game
It's deep, even though it's simple, I love how it's relatable for me, it gives me a wake up call. I hope you keep on continuing to make games. Loved this game more than I expected myself to. Sorry can't say so much cause I can't explain the feeling it gave me at the end of waking up.❤️
Thank you for checking it out! I'm glad you enjoyed it! <3 And I have released literally dozens of other VNs haha, I've been making VNs for over 10 years! You can see all of my stuff if you check out my Itchio profile!
Yes, I am playing Shut-in vampire and I got the "Nothing last forever ending", where I liked the nun a lot she was cold but caring. I really like your games it's very simple but heart touching hope you continue to make more games and not burn your self out ❤️

I enjoyed the game, even though I struggled with the beginning, it was a fun experience. loved the music too, it added more flavor to the anxious atmosphere. and the part with mc regaining memories really stuck with me, it reminded me of my similar experience with depression.
This is literally the best VN I've ever played. The atmosphere is conveyed perfectly; through music and sound effects, I literally felt like the main character. I could feel the illness, the overwhelming oppression, and the hopelessness myself. The game doesn’t scare you with jump scares but with its buildup of atmosphere.
The plot doesn’t explicitly tell you that something is wrong; it simply plants a seed of doubt. You might start to question whether everything the protagonist experiences is real (since he has a severe fever) or if his girlfriend is truly who she says she is, as she knows far too much about him for an ordinary person. Your choices determine whether this seed remains as it is or grows into a full-fledged tree of doubt.
The endings are also top-notch. None of them can be considered completely "good" or "bad"—it all depends on your perception. I also appreciated that the game leaves a lingering feeling after completion, especially when you press the "wake up" button, which kicks you out of the game entirely.
Although this game is shorter, I believe it deserves to stand on the same level as DDLC in this genre. I wish the developers success and recognition—you’ve done an incredible job!
!!! Thank you very much, this is such a kind comment!
I had fun writing it, I love writing dark and oppressive stories... I should probably do it more often, I don't write horror very often. I also don't write VNs with choices all that often either, so this was a bit of an experiment. I should probably do more of that too.
I think ths VN is definitely less ambituous than DDLC (it has fewer art assets, it's a lot shorter, and I wrote the whole thing in like a week...? I don't remember the exact timeframe but I finished it rather quickly), and it's less of a polished experience. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much though, it's nice being compared to such a popular and polished VN!
I really enjoyed this a lot. I'm not normally big on visual novels, but the themes in this really struck a chord with me and I'll be thinking about it for a while. Thank you so much for your hard work here!
I love this game so much. I finished the last ending which I think it is? (Wake up ending) The game feels so—UHHH I can't explain it jeez but I really love the game, so many interactions and the wake up ending really made me think i was high, because it's currently 1:23 AM right now and I thought I did something wrong when the game quit and wiped my saves. In all the visual novels I've played so far, this. This has become one of my favourites!
I dunno if this reflects on the author at all but I hope you're doin' alright, n' I think this is a good game, despite having such a crushing 'atmosphere'
Just finished it and it was pretty enjoyable, though there was a bit of dragging and repetition during some parts. It reminds me of Misery, though I haven't read that one haha
I couldn't find the password for the "present" zip though :((

Или я просто убедил себя в том, что у меня нет сил, я не знаю
