Small update + Mac build added
Hello everyone,
I'm just writing a quick post to let you know that I've uploaded a new build of My Lovey-Dovey Demon! This build fixes a handful of typos which were pointed out to me on the Steam community hub and on my Discord server.
I've also decided to add Mac compataibility for this game, as some of my free VNs have been available on Mac for a couple of years without any reported issues. I'm a bit iffy about listing Mac support for a commercial game as A) I don't own a Mac myself, so have no way to playtest it should anything go wrong, and B) Ren'py had an issue for a few years where certain Macs struggled to open Ren'py games, but I believe this issue was resolved a couple of years ago.
I'm not 100% sure if this Mac build will work, so if anybody tries to lanch the game via Mac and gets any errors, please let me know. As I can't test the Mac build myself, I'll have to remove Mac support if this happens. If it runs without issue, then I'll look into adding Mac support for my other commercial VNs going forward.
In any case, thank you for supporting this VN. It's very much appreciated! Do let me know if anything goes amiss, and if you spot any bugs/typos in the new build I will try to fix them in a reasonable timeframe.

Thank you for adding Mac support. I just tried the game for a few minutes on an Apple Silicon Mac with macOS Sequoia and there are no apparent problems so far.
Tysm for letting me know, it's appreciated!
Since it seems like there aren't any issues with the mac build, I'll look into adding mac functionality retroactively for my older VNs!
I'm looking forward to playing them.
I always wondered why your free games often had Mac support, but the paid ones didn't. But it makes sense if you can't test on a Mac yourself. Maybe a Mac mini would be a good (and fairly affordable) option for you. Even a used one with an M1 CPU should last for years to come. Just don't buy anything older with an Intel CPU.
