My first lesbian visual novel!! (DOOMED YURI HELP)

Well written, you catch on real quick the pattern even though you remain in denial to experience every possibilities to avoid what is fate; loneliness.

Each trope is far from boring and that's an experience that never left me...

THANKS♥

I hate how easily this game manipulated me.

Got tricked 4 times, damnit.

And it was painful!

Yet it was beautiful.

I don't know what women see in these games.

sybau

when will i be eaten by a cute girl...

我非常喜欢这个游戏还有故事!做的非常的棒!一个既孤独须要被爱的人学会了自爱,另一个几乎相同的人却从来不知道爱为何物

I JUST WANTED TO BE LOVED

don't we all u_u

I loved all of this. After the first ending I quickly realised the pattern, but it of course wasn't until the 4th that it made sense. I'm glad of the 5th (or was it the 8th? - the final one) that she can finally turn her life around. A beautiful story, all in all.

The mermaid, being first, in no way felt like filler, but the princess by far was my favourite. That and reading your in-game notes.

Well done, and thank you. This was not at all what I was expecting from a random find, but it kept me enthralled for a couple of evenings.

This is my first time playing something like this and oh my god i spent like an hour processing what i just played and what was the story about it like the lesson  really good in my opinion I'm still processing the ending  but realistically I don't know how these type of games are meant to be still its really a great game worth using your time on

I actually created an account just so I could comment on this, the story felt very weird (in a good way) I loved the way the narrative was done and the character (despite being archetypes made by Medea) are cool , and the way they add to eachothers with the mentions of previous deaths in some of the dialogues makes it really feel complete, I also love the narrator being a whole character (kinda like in Slay The Princess)  Rosette is also somewhat relatable for a character with barely any actual dialogues, anyways our lesbians got talent!

shout out to the lesbains dawg I love when yall crazy, but Im gay asf tho

Beautiful game

after having unlocked all of the extras i can say i thoroughly enjoyed it!! keep on making cool stuff!

This game is absolutely amazing and so id like to make a little review (spoilers ahead)

at the beginning of this game it reminded me of Slay the Princess (despite this game proceeding it) a game id played a little while ago and really intrigued me. as a lesbian i must admit the characters in this game did make me very much empathise with Rosette but soon realising that my endeavors to do anything but die in the end really did make me kinda want to give up.

i think this is where id say how good of an allegory this is for an abusive relationship, at your lowest you feel you should love and love not quite knowing if they love you back (this being obvious at the fact that the cannibal girl says that you love her but you never got to know if she loves you) all for you to realise that this is the cycle of abuse. loving someone hoping they love you but not entirely being sure only for them to destroy a part of you with an action and then you get up, dust yourself off and do it again.

When i came back to the game, after initially finishing it once and not feeling satisfied, it made me remember what i had learnt in my last toxic relationship. that giving up and living in the hell your abuser creates for you isn't a way to live and the best thing to do is to leave even if  it gets so lonely without them . So that's what Rosette does, she leaves her abuser. she really got her happy ending.

Great VNs have always been something that's more than just fawning over people and trying to get in there pants. i think i consider this one of the best visual novels i've read, the writting, the message, and the idea to make it so you have to experience every route (twice) to get the true ending makes this a 10/10 no notes. oh and i like the fact that the dreams are a foreshadowing to the deaths you get in those routes, very cool.

I finished game, with all the endings and extras unlocked. All I can say is that, it's an amazing game. Truly a gem find here. I really thought it was only a straight yandere VN, didn't expect the MC is a girl lol, but still it's a cute game.

9/10.

Ame esta novela,al principio sentí que era medio aburrida, pero cuando me metí más en la lectura le dí otra oportunidad y no me arrepiento para nada.Alta obra.

Before I played the game, I was reading the reviews like a nerd. And I saw many and I mean MANY positive reviews. And it deserves it all! This is just truly beautiful. Gravedigger and the princess is my favorite! After you finished that game, go to extra and read the note. You may find something interesting and surprising.

Check this game out! It worth your time.

11/10

Played both games (this and the sequel) and i can say the story is very well crafted, i would have an long ass comment on how i loved the story and i think the writer is petty fire andthis conviced me to play also her other games but i am not really want to write rn, so yeah very cool game like 70% of yuri games on itch.io games is petty depressing tho (like fr why the hell half of the yuri section on this godanm site is so depressing)

they gave me the evil yuri

10/10 though

this is by far my favorite game/games ever like it lit made me cry thank you for creating this masterpiece 10\10 would recommend

I thoroughly enjoyed these short stories, - they have managed to play out the yandere theme in an interesting way, with some rather creative solutions (a pleasant surprise on the second playthrough!).

The fairy-tale-like shoujo aesthetic with dark themes simply captivated me! I immediately felt the urge to create fan art-

Thank you for your work! <3

THIS GAME LOOKS SO BEAUTIFUL OH MY GOD

(+3)

I have seen this vn come up in my feeds several times and for the longest time was curious to play through it. It piqued my interest with the promise of WLW romance and cannibalism, so of course I had to check it out sooner or later. Finally gave it a read, and I wasn't disappointed!

The art is absolutely gorgeous. Every character looks cute and pretty. The GUI is so creative! By leaving a small window for the characters and backgrounds, it really makes me feel as if I am reading through a fairy-tale book with illustrations. Despite being photographs, the backgrounds never look out of place and blend perfectly with the rest of the visuals.  The music is beautiful, haunting. Especially the mermaid's song - it's enchanting on its own, but the voice becoming slightly muffled when the protagonist is getting carried into the depths of the ocean was an extra wonderful touch.

And of course, the writing. The prose is really charming, and I found myself getting hypnotized by it, wanting to keep reading and reading. Second person is a rare find and can be a bit of a gamble, but it works in this novel. I liked the narrator being her own character and even showing up in the end. Once again, it feels like I am reading a fairy-tale, but with a WLW twist as a cherry on top.

I can't help but feel very sad for the protagonist though. She isn't a bad person, and her life is very unfortunate. Her wish to find companionship wasn't a terrible one. So it's really a pity that in the end it leads her to more suffering, no matter what she does. I would be curious to read the sequel and see if perhaps there is more to her fate.

It's amazing that you were able to make this during the limited time frame of a game jam. Thank you for the lovely reading experience!

gosh i love this game sm i just had to come back here after a while and say this! Tragic, horrifying, beautiful, and wlw. What more could ya want? I was left in SHAMBLES after going to the shore first and meeting the mermaid, her whole route had me falling so in love, then i got to the ending. Still NEVER recovering from thatTMT. And it never ends, honestly i always just go with fighting against my fates and going with the witch ending.

just finished the game, and it's so good I don't even know how to express myself. PEAK WLW MASTERPIECE, definitely one of my favourite vn's so far

also the OST is so good I'm listening to it rn while I type this, went to my playlist 💗

Mi opinión de este juego: OBRA MAESTRA :D

a great story. short and concise, no dragging but also no problem that the characters seem flat and hastily written. The atmosphere of the mermaid story captured my soul. The way the backgrounds are depicted, the image of the house on the cliff and the night sky, dark but with the morning light peeking through in combination with the sound of the waves swaying in the cold wind when Rosalina first meets the mermaid is one of the most magical scenes in vns for me. the only problem I had was with the author's notes. After the second playthrough, the page with notes changes its text and you can't go back to the previous one, which is a pity because there were a lot of references to works that I would really like to read. Where can I find these notes outside of the game? Thank you very much in advance for your answer

I wish there was a happy ending ): maybe this game is just not meant for me and I really missed the point but the princess one (which was the one that I played first) really fucked me up idk maybe I'm just soft but it genuinely made me feel such despair that I found it extremely difficult to enjoy the rest o the game like their love was so pure and perfect that when it was ripped away so suddenly it kind of broke me and maybe as I said I'm not the target audience and just don't understand the point

i love doomed AND toxic yuri such peak

I came from steam just to help here on itch.io too! What a beautiful amazing game!

How can I give money? This is the first time I've seen such a good game completely free 🤔

Well, at least I'll spread the game a little. That's also help, so to speak. 😁

I've released dozens of commercial VNs, so if you want to support me you can buy one of those. And thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Unfortunately I can only play on my phone, but I'll check out if there's anything interesting from the same developer. Although, as for me, statistics are also important... Well, the main thing is that the game is top

Oh, there's e steam. Then I'll probably choose something there.

I didn't expect Ukrainian language in itch io. Apparently this is the first game that I will not play for free 😅

now THIS is toxic yuri at its finest.
like holy shit
i know calling it toxic yuri waters it down a lot but idk how else to describe how suffocating all these 'love interests' are in their own right.
this was worth the ~3 hours off my lifespan, yurilicious indeed

原来我根本没走出森林,这些“爱”都是女巫给我的。话说,我也太可怜了吧

I finished this game today and wow... I love it! I don't have experience playing yandere vns since they don't appeal to me but my friend recommended this to me and I'm not disappointed. I love the use of 2nd person, and the unreliable(?) narrator with her sass and snarky remarks made this super entertaining to read. I wonder how much of the narration is the protagonist's true feelings and how much is the biases bleeding through. My favourite route so far is the gravedigger, I feel so much for her, which makes the twist so heartbreaking.

Minor spoilery detail: I love the subtle detail that all the love interests call the protag "Dear one". It's easy to gloss over but once you notice, you can put the pieces together.

The language and story progression is wonderful, the art is beautiful and suits the grim fairytale vibe really well. The music is GORGEOUS!!! I love how most of the tracks are rearrangements of the same/similar melody and motifs, which really hammers in the repetition of the cyclical storyline.

overall 8.5/10 because i felt the mermaid storyline was less developed and didn't really gel cohesively with the other two, which I thought were much stronger. the mermaid would've benefited from more depth and dialogue.

peak yandere vn 10/10 one the most beautiful games i haver played the music is heavenly the art is pretty everything about this game is great
