Hello everyone!

I'm writing a quick announcement post to let you know that The Way We All Go has been released (which you should know already if you're reading this devlog haha)

This VN is a remake of my very first commercial VN, which was released all the way back in 2015! The old game is still available (and it's also cheaper than the remake haha), you can find it on Steam here and Itchio here.

I've always been fond of The Way We All Go, since it was my first Big Project (and it was also pretty ambitious), so I've wanted to revisit it for a while. I thought it'd be fun to remaster it for its 10th anniversary (even though I'm a few months off since I believe the original VN released in March 2015 haha), so here it is!

The remake keeps all the text from the old VN, but I edited some awkward phrasings and nixed a lot of the stammering to make it read a bit better. I also added a brand new route into the game with a new girl, which comes with two new endings, and there are 16 unlockable short stories too. There's about 80k~ish words of new content vs the old VN, which should be fun even for people familiar with the original.

The art, of course, has all been updated (sprites, CGs, backgrounds), and there are some cute chibi cut-ins for comedy moments. There's also a new soundtrack and a shiny new UI.
