This was lots of fun! I think I actually liked it better than the original it gets so lonely here, for pacing reasons: it feels more focusedly-told, with its shorter length and differently-laid-out branch-structure leaving less room for the story's progression to sag towards the middle.
One interface-question: when I was at the point of 100%-completion-as-best-I-could-tell—I made it to the point of (spoilers in rot13) univat gur abgrf haybpxrq va gur tnyyrel, naq hcba fgnegvat gur tnzr ntnva orvat noyr gb sbetrg rirelguvat va beqre gb erfrg tnzr-fgngr—the music gallery listed only seven tracks as playable, despite there being eight interface-slots for them. (The seven BGM tracks from throughout the main story, but not the credits-music.) Is this indicative of my having missed things more broadly, such that I should poke around more to find hidden corners of things that I missed on my initial passes?
(Also, somewhat-implicitly-spoilery fun theory I had during the middle parts of the story: for a decent chunk of the story I was thinking that gur znva punenpgref jrer obgu Ebfrggr, va fbzr fbeg bs gvzr-ybbc bs ure jvgpu-frys chfuvat ure abajvgpu-frys gb ybir ure hagvy riraghnyyl ure abajvgpu-frys jbhyq orpbzr n jvgpu naq yrg ure jvgpu-frys trg gb or gur nzarfvnp abajvgpu sbe n juvyr. This is not exactly what happened, but it was a fun possibility to imagine while it remained plausible!)
GOD i just finished this after work and needless to say I adore it. As always your prose is phenomenal (and such an inspiration). I actually figured out the twist relatively early, but it didn't hurt my enjoyment of the story at all.
The toxicity of love between Medea and Rosette is SO intriguing. I think it's a wonderful continuation of the story, and I'm so glad you decided to focus on them, as I definitely agree the Lonely LIs' stories feel very... complete? And I like the little nod that in the end they're just aspects of Medea and her all-consuming love for Rosette. All in all, such a lovely addition to the story and will definitely be encouraging people to read it (after getting them to read Lonely)
The music is one of my favourite parts of this story, it's so good! Yuzuki did such a fantastic job, I had a lot of fun playtesting it myself just because I could listen to the music over and over haha I'm glad you enjoyed it, thank you!
This story contains less art than Lonely because it's shorter and has fewer characters so I didn't think it needed more CGs.
I'm not sure if I'll write more about these characters, I'm leaning towards probably not. And I've written a large number of stories featuring a lot of other characters already, you can find them if you check my Itchio or Steam developer accounts.
I'll continue to follow you and your work forward. Can I ask if you can recommend me any of your yuri work with lighthearted, romance, and drama-free to me?
You can find all of my yuri VNs on Itchio here! If you only want free VNs, then Winter Fragments and Shut-in Vampire are probably good picks. They're both free yuri VNs which are very cute and light-hearted without much drama. If you're alright with commercial stories, The Fairy's Song or My Dear Prince would be good (The Fairy's Song is one of my fav yuri VNs I've written so I'm a bit biased towards it haha)
Really liked this! I really am easy game for evil lesbians.
But, I'm sort of a sucker for good, or at least hopeful endings, and I really liked the good ending for Lonely, it's kinda disheartening to see Rosette coming out the other side not being the strong independent gayboss I chose to interpret her being afterwords 😭
Oh! Please don't misinterpret! I didn't mean to say I thought it was bad or that it should stick to my headcanon. I would be impossible to adhere to everyone's preferences anyways.
I was looking forward to this ever since you started teasing it on Twitter and it did not disappoint! I am one of those who discovered your work through Lonely and this was a delightfully twisted follow-up. I don't want to spoil things here so I'll just say I loved how the story tied into Lonely in the end. What a beautiful, haunting ending sequence. I'm glad you made it! Happy Halloween~
This VN was absolutely awesome. Short, but sweet. I love it as a sort of spin off to Lonely. I want more of these characters!! (But actually this is the perfect length, I just think selfishly want mooooreee haha) Once again, Ebi has provided gold to the toxic yuri fandom. I think I may have liked this more than Lonely, actually!

(ALSO YUZUKI'S OST IS STELLAR AS ALWAYS)
Made my Halloween. A really nice spinoff to a great VN, plus I totally loved the final song. Yuzuki's soundtracks are the best.

Hi! Just finished your game!
I really like the music at the end. The song is very nice! She have a really nice voice.
The art are very cute! Albeit only have a limited number of art compared to "Lonely"
The story get a bit repetitive (but I get that it's the whole point) of Medea just waiting for Rosette.
To be honest, I didn't recognize her face at all when the twisted is coming. Both Medea and Rosette.
And the winner of this toxic lesbian magical showdown is Rosette as a revenge to Medea.
Now I wonder, will you continue this serie about this couple? Or your plan for the new story?
This story contains less art than Lonely because it's shorter and has fewer characters so I didn't think it needed more CGs.

Thank you for the feedback, I apologise if the story didn't go the direction that you wanted.

Aha I'm glad it was still enjoyable despite that, I just hope it wasn't disappointing
Far from it!
