Hi everyone! It's ebi here, once again o7

So, it hasn't been that long since EP2 was released, but I thought I'd give a bit of an update. I've launched the Steam page for this project, which can be found here. When EP3 is completed, I'll upload the first three eps bundled together on Steam (and Itchio too, of course). The first three eps will be free, as was planned initially, so you won't need to spend a single penny on them. Yay 🎉

I've been thinking a bit about the future of this series, however, and the remaining 7 episodes. While the remaining episodes have all been written, and I've commissioned most of the art assets for EP3 + a chunk of art assets for EP4, the reception to this series has been pretty lukewarm. I suppose that's to be expected, really, given it's such a self-indulgent project, and it's a spinoff of an existing commerical VN which wasn't that popular to begin with...
But, given the first two episodes of this VN are free and it contains a fair amount of content already, I had expected the downloads to be a little higher than they are 💦💦

Though I had 10 episodes planned, I am considering cutting down the number of eps to 4 instead, as I don't think there's enough interest in this series to justify making all 10 episodes. I'm hoping the VN will get a bit more attention on Steam once the first three episodes are out, but if downloads are poor and the interest is low on Steam too I might seriously consider cutting things short. That being the case, it would be appreciated if anybody who is interested could give this VN a wishlist on Steam to maybe help boost it a bit.

There's also a chance I might finish this series up anyway, even if it continues to underperform, if one of my other commercial VNs happens to do well this year and I wind up with some extra cash I can spend on frivolous things. I really do love this story, regardless of its reception, and I want to finish it 😭

Regardless of what happens, however, the first four episodes will definitely be finished, since I have most of the art assets for these eps already. It would be a waste not to share them, so I will!
